Camelus Dromedarius Some groovy DM with licks for days. Kruelty is carving out their own unique sound that feels like a breath of fresh air. My main complaints would be the vocalist sounding like he really wasn't meant for this sort of music and the drums sounding a bit tinny. Besides that, I want to say that what makes breakdowns and the like so satisfying is that they are a break from something else. If nearly the entire album is essentially breakdowns, it gets old after the first few songs. Still worth a listen. Favorite track: Definition.

Daniel Nielsen As a big fan of Bol Thrower's Realm of Chaos, this really hits the spot for me.

Low sloppy and crunchy guitars, nice hitting drums and the vocals to match.

So happy i stumpled upon this album. Been listening to it every day since i bought it.

about

Japan’s KRUELTY was formed in 2017 and play a brutal and devastating mix of beatdown hardcore and punishing doomy death metal. Their debut full-length album “A Dying Truth” follows several splits and a single EP along with a slew of live shows, and is a savage and monolithic slab of what an ideal mix between vicious hardcore and brutal death metal should encompass. Mixed by Taylor Young (Nails), “A Dying Truth” will see its CD/Digital release in March via Japan’s Daymare Recordings and on vinyl release in April through Profound Lore Records.
